Duane in jeans, Ry in Bermuda Shorts, Warren Haynes in an Armani Suit, David Lindley in a Speedo, Joe Walsh in tidy whiteys, Lowell George in spiderman underpants all more pleasing to the ear. Now Bonnie naked, that's a horse of a different color.

David Lindley is one of my favorites, although I never saw him in a speedo...LOL!!! His everpresent polyester pants are a sight to see, however. I once produced an accoustic show with him and Hanni Nasser in Kona Hawaii and his manager told me that his nickname was Mr Polyester.

There's a video of Lindley on Youtube playing lap steel (actually a Weissenborn) accompanying Emmy Lou, Dolly Parton and Linda Ronstadt from the "Trio" CD. They're doing "To Know Him Is To Love Him." The vid is shot in very soft focus around a fireplace like a Christmas carol, the girls singing...camera focused on the beauty of it all... with the king of polyester as the leading man. I can just hear the girls cooiing "OOOOOH Mister Dave."
